Anabella Alfonzo* worked with the City of Port Coquitlam, leading the public art process for an upcoming project at their new community and recreation centre. The scope included creating a public art plan to inform and guide the process of commissioning, developing and delivering a public art piece that has great significance to the City and will be unveiled in the fall of 2025.
Anabella worked with the City on the creation and issuing of a public call for artists for this project, including selection process definition, selection panel recommendations, following process best-practices while aligning to the City’s values and internal systems. Later, Anabella also provided consulting services for the feasibility and procurement of the Landscape Architecture/Integration scope of this project.
